Here it is, the Christmas Geeking Season, and I am geeking hard. Nailed some memory for the laptop and now she is screaming along with 2 gigs worth. I just installed it and it seems much faster, but that could very well be a placebo effect. Of course, the laptop came stock with two slots and both filled with 512 meg sticks. That means that I had to buy two 1 gig sticks and it also means that I now have two 512 meg sticks extra. I hope the daughter's laptop can use one...

Memory - YEA!
